For the keen fishermen, Mauritius is the ideal destination for superb deep-sea fishing. Large game species include; barracuda, tuna, marlin and a variety of sharks such as hammerhead, tiger and black fin. For organised deep-sea fishing trips the best locations are at the Trou Aux Biches and Grand Baie.
